The results were good for what he was looking for, but it did uncover some other issues that I was not aware of. I’m thankful for his follow up. Dr. Mah'Moud is a great doctor. He listens, makes recommendations, and is doing everything he can to address my gatro issues. I formerly went to another gastroenterologist and got lots of tests but very little help. I could never get an appointment with the dr, but only with assistants and PAs. I only wish I had gone to Dr. Mah'Moud earlier. I finally feel as if I am getting help.

She dismissed my symptoms, said that my doctor “didn’t know” but surgery wouldn’t help me. She classified my 5 cm hiatal hernia as “small”. She said that I should see an ENT for my trouble swallowing and that they don’t really look at the throat and it was probably weak muscles. She said that the intermittent pain I have had and the urge to stand up to alleviate it would have nothing to do with my condition and was probably something else. She said that she could order one of the tests my doctor recommended but it wouldn’t show anything and would be uncomfortable and wouldn’t help me.

Dr Mahmoud is a well mannered, knowledgeable doctor. He let's you know what's going on step by step. The last question he always ask is, is there anything else you need me to help you with.

My endoscopy to review my Barrett's Esophagus with Dr. Sachdeva on 5/7/2024 went smoothly and with great people along the way. There was an issue with finding one of my tiny veins (and not having anything to drink since 6pm night before) but the 3 nurses that worked on establishing a line were kind and gentle. Eric, the nurse anesthesiologist, was wonderful and kind, along with Kim in the procedure room. Dr. Sachdeva talked to both my husband and I later and explained the findings, giving me information to help decide if I'll have any more endoscopies, given my age and status quo of Barrett's. Even the young lady that transported me down to the car was exceptionally nice.

Dr. Lange is very knowledgable and attentive to his patients, and I felt like he did not rush through the appointment, making sure he answered all the questions I had. Highly recommend Dr. Lange!

Other than being hard for my GPS to find, it was a great experience. When I called to get clearer directions no one answered the phone! I would say to provide better directions so you don't end up in a residential area near downtown where there is also a 2601 Lake Drive!

I was referred by my primary care doctor. It was my first time coming. The staff overall were friendly and helpful. The young lady who was sitting at the checkout counter could use some customer service training. As I stated earlier, it was my first time coming and the office set up is a little confusing. There are actually two separate doors to go into another. A patient who was also waiting had given me the correct door to go into so once I got into the door, I stood there for about five minutes, which seemed like forever cause I’m just standing there waiting on the lady to ask me if I needed help. She looked up did not say a word and continue to work on her computer. She did not acknowledge me at all but after standing for at least five minutes or more another patient who was sitting down, pointed to a second window and said you can check in there. I went over to the second window, and the lady was friendly and assisted me in checking in. my concern or rather a complaint is the young lady at the checkout window could have easily said I do checkouts only and my coworker at the next desk could help you. She didn’t even do the bare minimum and after making eye contact she still did not acknowledge me or direct me to where I needed to be, even if I was at the wrong window and it was clearly my mistake, but it was my first time being there and I didn’t know I was at the wrong window. Other than that, everyone was pleasant and the visit went well.

I had a great experience recently with Raleigh Medical Group - Gastroenterology. Other than the prep for a colposcopy (which is always not fun), the procedures I received, including an endoscopy, went very well. Prior to the procedures Dr. Lange talked with me to tell me how the procedures would proceed. We also discussed my family history as well. After the procedure Dr. Lange discussed the results with my wife in the recovery room (I was still not ‘with it’ as a result of the anesthesia). I was also provided a harcopy printout of the results of procedures as well as recommendations that I can take to improve my health. Dr. Lange and the entire staff at RMG is friendly, personable and professional. I will continue to see Dr. Andrew Lange and the other professionals at RMG for needed healthcare needs.

The overall experience was good. I did however think it was strange that after I was told that I was going to need a procedure (remind you that I never had before) that my doctor didn’t stay and explain everything to me. Instead the intake assistant did. I think as a new patient to this clinic that shouldn’t be the case. I’m getting the procedure done next month hopefully that experience is better considering I’m putting my life in their hands.

I have an issue with the nurse that asked the questions before the procedure. Thinking back on the questions that she asked was racial. She asked me a question about been in special education class. I have a master degree in counseling. Another thing I told her I didn’t have any dental in my mouth. She asked me to open my mouth. I should have walked out. The more I think about it the more I get mad with yourself.

Very kind nurses, etc. However, arriving 60 mins before the procedure was too long. 30 mins would have been adequate to process admitting.

Dr. Mahmoud is the best of the best. I first saw him when he was in Rocky Mount NC. He left for a while so I had to see others for my long term gastro problems. The minute I heard he was coming to Wilson NC, I called and made an appointment to see him as I was having some issues. He is working with me now to get on top of the issues I am dealing with now. I trust his advice totally…he emphasizes the importance of food choices and suggests things I can do to help myself. I appreciate Dr. Mahmoud so much. And by the way, Dr. Mahmoud is so pleasant in his manner of dealing with you and really wants to hear what his patient has to say about their condition and obviously knows a good bit about your situation before coming in to see you. I called for 10 days to schedule, left messages with no return phone call. Later found out scheduler had been on vacation for a week. This is not acceptable. Call shpuld have been forearded or have a message that says call back in 10 days. I called to get clarification concerning the prep instructions a week prior to procedure. My calls were never returned. This is poor patient management. The check in people were cold, arrogant, and perfunctory. This makes Dr. Reddy's practice seem average to poor. I truly hope someone actually cares about the clerical staff issues. Dr Reddy is 5 Star. Office is 1 star.
