Karla Nieves, MD

Dr. Nieves was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus.  She proceeded to complete her Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital- Cornell in New York City, followed by a Gastroenterology fellowship at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Massachusetts.  Dr. Nieves specializes in general gastroenterology and some of her interest include inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome. 

Dr. Nieves is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
